Melissa Joan Hart Tattoos

Melissa Joan Hart is a fantastic American actress, best known for her role in television shows such as Clarissa Explains It All and Sabrina the Teenage Witch.

Melissa Joan Hart has been pictured with two tattoos on her body, including small cross on the back of her neck, plus a blue butterfly just above her left breast.

There seems to be some debate as to whether the butterfly tattoo is real or fake.

Sarah Harding Tattoos

Sarah Harding is a charming English singer-songwriter and actress, perhaps best known as a member of the pop group, Girls Aloud.

Sarah Harding has been seen donning a few tattoos recently, including a rather large Tibetan script inked on the inner portion of her left forearm.

She has also been spotted with a new tattoo design located behind her right ear, which is a star design.

And just last year she a small tattoo on her back removed by way of laser.

Alyson Hannigan Tattoos

Alyson Hannigan is a lovely funny American actress, probably best known for her role in the movie American Pie, and the television show How I Met Your Mother.

We have spotted three tattoos on Alyson Hannigan.

Her tattoos include, two intertwined tribal dolphins on her right ankle, along with a small turtle on her left foot, and finally a Japanese kanji which represents good luck and happiness, located on her lower back.

Geri Halliwell Tattoos

Geri Halliwell is a wonderful British singer-songwriter, author and actress, best known as a member of the pop group the Spice Girls, under the nickname Ginger Spice.

Geri Halliwell has two tattoos on her body, including a star at the top of her back, just below her neck.

Her other tattoo is of a black panther and is located in the center of her lower back, however Geri Halliwell has since had this tattoo removed.

Sammy Hagar Tattoos

Sammy Hagar is a great American rock singer/guitarist, best known for his work with the rock group Van Halen and Montrose.

Sammy Hagar has two tattoos which we know of, one design on each bicep, including a circular picture of a Mexico sunset with the word "Cabo Wabo" which is the name of his club in Mexico.

The tattoo on his right bicep is rather difficult to make out clearly, however it appears to resemble a torch of some sort.

Jake Gyllenhaal Tattoos

Jake Gyllenhaal is a wonderful American actor, known for his role in such films as Donnie Darko and Jarhead.

Jake Gyllenhaal has been spotted with a couple of tattoos lately, including a Pittsburgh Steelers team helmet, and a line of old english variant letters.

However both of these tattoos are believed to be 100 percent fake.

Embryo

I met TJ almost exactly 6 years ago. I was living in Austin and I came to San Francisco to meet family. A mutual friend introduced us. TJ had just opened Idle Hand; April 1st, 2004 is the anniversary. By September I had gotten rid of most of my belongings, save for my dog, my bed, tattoo equipment, painting supplies a few other things and was living in San Francisco, working at Idle Hand on Haight Street. I had (and still have) a magnet that showed the Haight/Ashbury sign I got when I turned 16 on a family trip to San Francisco. It's on my fridge. We had my 16th birthday dinner at Benny Hana's. We rode the trolly and my brother got cat-called in the Castro.

Idle Hand was not what it is today. Initially it was me and TJ. Andy came in October. Iggy came in December. I remember the day each of them walked into the shop. I guess those memories are for a different blog entry but they were important days in the history of Idle Hand. Maybe to sum it up quickly I can tell you what I remember the most is how TJ welcomed them into our "home" in an unconditional way. Whatever was in their past was in their past and they were here now and they were part of the family. He was like that with everyone he brought in.

Years have passed and TJ and Andy are gone (but still family!) and Iggy remains as one of my best friends and my Captain at Idle Hand. He and his wife Jen just had their first child in November and Iggy's been on paternity leave, taking care of his baby through, as most of our clients and friends know, 2 heart surgeries and with that, some trying times. I think I started this blog around the time of little Magnus' birth. In respect to their privacy, I've only posted a few times about them. I try to keep this blog focused as much on the happenings in the shop as possible, but because of how close we all are, that line gets blurred some times.

We had some new additions to the shop right before and after Magnus was born and so I've been excited for Iggy's return; 1, because his presence is undeniable in the shop and 2, because his presence is undeniable in the shop. ha! What I'm trying to say is Iggy is back at the helm on a regular schedule of Tuesday, Wed., Thurs, and sometimes Saturday. His computer is fucked. His boss (Magnus) keeps him up at night and occupied during the day, so his photo postings have been and will be limited but you should know he's back in the shop.

So quit playin' with your ding a ling and get a tattoo like this guy did:

I started this backpiece of King Kong, with "plants" and San Francisco behind him. I am anxiously awaiting our next session. I'm really enjoying this tattoo (except the butt clenching, that was kinda unexpected)

This is the 3rd session on this tattoo. Portraits are hard enough, but make them small and put them on the ribs and you're looking at Holly having extra sweaty armpits.

But! Probably not as sweaty as Jeremy's armpits were when this guys was suiting him up in his armor so Aaron could photograph him for a painting.

Obviously totally worth it though. The dude in this awesome painting is the dude tying Jeremy's bonnet.

Vida Guerra Tattoos

Vida Guerra is a stunningly bodacious Cuban-born American model, known as having one of the most desirable bodies in show business.

Vida Guerra has three visible tattoos on her body, one of which is a small red devil with pitchfork located on the right portion of her lower abdomen.

Dave Grohl is a superbly talented American rock musician, known for his success with the rock group Nirvana, Foo Fighters and Them Crooked Vultures.

Dave Grohl has multiple tattoos on his body, mainly on his arms chest and shoulders, including three Led Zeppelin inspired tattoo designs, one of which he tattooed himself, being the three-circle Led Zeppelin IV logo on his arm.

Some of Dave Grohl's other tattoos include, "FF" on the back of his neck which represents his band "Foo Fighters", plus extensive tribal designs on his upper arms and shoulders.

He has quite a few other tattoos, including a tribal design on his chest, plus a few tattoos on his forearms, and a small heart and halo on his left middle finger.

Kathy Griffin Tattoo

Kathy Griffin is a funny American actress and stand-up comedian, known for a lot of things including her role on the sitcom Suddenly Susan.

Once upon a time Kathy Griffin had a diamond wedding ring tattoo, however after she divorced her husband of 5 years, she also had the tattoo removed.

I don't think Kathy Griffin has any more tattoos, perhaps in a hidden location?

Ryan Gosling Tattoos

Ryan Gosling is an excellent actor and musician, best known for his role in the movie The Notebook and Half Nelson.

Ryan Gosling has several "homemade" tattoos on his body, including the book cover of "The Giving Tree" located on his left shoulder, the book was written by Shel Silverstein in 1964.

He has a tattoo of the famed silent film actress, Theda Bara, on his left bicep.

His other tattoos include a horizontal solid bar on his inner left wrist, plus a couple of other small "doodle" tattoos on his left forearm and elbow area.
Ryan Gosling has been quoted as saying: A tattoo should never be meaningful, because at a certain point you're going to hate it, and it might as well make you laugh.

Whoopi Goldberg has a couple of tattoos which we about, including floral designs on the right side of her chest.

The star also has the bird Woodstock from Peanuts on the left side of her chest.

Jason Giambi Tattoos

Jason Giambi is a successful Major League Baseball player who won the American League MVP in 2000, but perhaps better known for his public steroid scandal.

Jason Giambi has a large tattoo on his left shoulder which consists of two designs, one being a flaming skull and the other a tribal armband just below.

Sarah Michelle Gellar Tattoos

Sarah Michelle Gellar is a stunningly beautiful American actress, known for her role as Buffy Summers in the television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Sarah Michelle Gellar appears to have four tattoos on her body, including a cherry blossom alongside a Chinese symbol for integrity, located on her right ankle.
