Brad Pitt Tattoos

Checkout the tattoos of international Hollywood super stud actor and husband to follow actress Angelina Jolie, Mr. Brad Pitt.

Brad Pitt has four tattoos which we know of, including an outline tattoo on his left forearm of Ötzi the Iceman, aka Frozen Fritz and Similaun Man.

Brad also has a very interesting tattoo on his back, which appears to be nothing more than various horizontal lines, but rumor has it that these lines represent the levees which broke in New Orleans, during hurricane Katrina (2005). Brad has been heavily involved in local rebuilding projects.

His most recent tattoo is on his stomach which is written in Khmer and reads 6/4/75, the birthday of his wife, Angelina Jolie.

50 Cent Tattoos

Lets have a look at the tattoos of gangster rap artist and founder of G Unit, 50 Cent.

50 Cent (Curtis James Jackson III) has several tattoos, in fact, probably enough to fill an entire tattoo art gallery.

50 has “Love & Hate" tattooed in bold underneath his belly button, to go along with Jesus and the devil on opposite sides.

On his right bicep is an axe with the name of his son "Marquise" and the word "Warrior". Plus on the same arm he has the name of his mother "Sabrina" and the words "Ghetto Angel".

He has an Angel on his left shoulder and just below that is a drawing, which includes a crown and "50" in the center. Plus on the lower portion of his left arm is a cross and the phrase "God Understands Me".

50 has a huge collage of tattoos on his back, including a giant number "50" in the middle, along with "South Side" on the upper portion, plus the words "Gangsta" and “Cold World” and “G-unit” included within.




50 Cent has had several tattoos removed, and has been quoted as saying "When I first got a tattoo, I was like 19 years old. Now I regret getting it every time I look at it. It is a constant reminder of the mind frame I had at that age and I definitely had no class.

Victoria Beckham Tattoos

Lets have a look at the fabulous and very meaningful tattoos of English singer, dancer, model, designer and author, Victoria Beckham, perhaps best known for being Posh Spice, of the Spice Girls group.

Victoria has five bright shining stars on her lower back which represent her, David and their three sons, Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz.

She has a Hebrew tattoo of a quote from the Song of Solomon 6:3 "I am my love’s and my love is mine, who browses among the lilies." which runs from the neck down her back.

Victoria also has the date (May 8th 1997) in roman numerals tattooed on her wrist, and is said to be the date her and husband David Beckham first made love with one another.

Just below that tattoo, appears to be the phrase "De Integra, De Enegra or De Intopa".

DB (David Beckham) is tattooed on the inner portion of her left wrist, to go along with another Hebrew script tattoo, which read "together forever, eternally".

It's that time of year again. The holidays are upon us. This also marks the slower season for tattooing. Last week was definitely quieter than usual but I'm not sure if that's because it's getting slow or because we have no guest artists, Jason's gone, and Iggy's on paternity leave.

I'm happy to announce that starting in December, Cecilia Altamirano will be working at Idle Hand! I've been the only girl tattooing at the shop for the last 5 years so now that there'll be two of us you can expect lots of cat fights, tampons, emotional breakdowns, and bon bons in the shop. Oh and more Tegan and Sara on the stereo!

We've got the art walk coming up on Friday, December 4th. Hightower will be playing from 9-10pm and we're going to be doing $60 Get What You Get Tattoos. It's going to be so much fun! I can't wait! This is what Iggy made last week. I got to visit him on Sunday and he is such a precious little baby!

 Jen and Iggy have a blog where you can read about Magnus and send them your best wishes.

We've all got them in our hearts and minds this week and send all of our love to them tomorrow while Magnus is in surgery.

Scarlett Johansson Tattoo

Here we have the stunningly beautiful and equally as talented celebrity actress, Scarlett Johansson.

Scarlett Johansson currently has only one tattoo, which is located on her left forearm. Its a tattoo of a lovely sunrise, over looking the ocean with clouds.

Scarlett has been quoted as saying "It's kind of personal. It's a sunrise, and it makes me happy when I look at it."

Magnus Opus

Well it's been one of those weeks where things are a little quiet as far as things to write about. Everyone has been busy working and drawing so that's exciting but pictures speak louder than words in that department. I was trying to think of things to write about in the coming weeks and it dawned on me that our clients ask us a lot of the same questions; how long have you been doing this? what got you into it? where's the weirdest place you've tattooed? etc. etc. and I thought it would be nice to interview the artists who work here so you can get to know us a little better.

I thought I would start with Iggy for a few reasons. He's our grumpy old man (or he WAS a grumpy old man...not so grumpy these days), with a long history in the business and in San Francisco, also, he's been here from almost the beginning of the shop's incarnation. He's seen it's many transformations and has been a huge part of those. He's also a pretty interesting person with interesting thoughts and ideas. His son was also due to be born December 8th and I wanted to get him in before he went on paternity leave. Well the interview is going to have to wait because Iggy called the shop two days ago and cancelled all appointments because it was looking like his little guy was ready to enter the world. I got the word this morning that Magnus Ulysses Vans was born, strong and ready for what life has in store for him. Everyone at the shop is so excited to meet this little baby with a big name! Little Magnus is blessed to have such awesome people for parents. We just want to let everyone know how happy we all are for Iggy and Jen!

Now we will feature the various tattoos of young talented Barbados born singer, Rihanna.

Rihanna has a tremendous passion for tattoo artwork, some might even say its an addiction, so lets take a look at her 13 tattoos.

Some of Rihanna's tattoos include:

Small musical note on left ankle.
Pisces zodiac tattoo behind her right ear.
A star inside her left ear.
The roman numerals XI IV LXXXVI on her left shoulder.
Sanskrit prayer going down her hip.
Small skull and crossbones with pink bow on her lower leg.

Love on her let middle finger.

Hayden Panettiere Tattoos

Here we have the beautifully talented Hollywood actress of both the small and big screens, Hayden Panettiere.

Hayden Panettiere has two tattoos which we know of, including her much publicized misspelled tattoo that reads "Vivere senza rimipianti" in Italian, which translates "to live without regrets".

Unfortunately for Hayden, her tattoo reads "rimipianti" instead of "rimpianti," adding an extra "i."

She also has a tiny tattoo on her right ankle, of the zodiac sign of Leo.
